Adidas Jump Store_ Hoxton
Studio 1 Architects worked in collaboration with FormRoom to transform the Geffrye Community Centre in Hoxton in to a sleek black and white box for the Adidas D Rose Jump Store event. The team had three days to install gloss laminate panels on both the outside and inside of the Community Centre as well as install a shelf around the circumference of the room at a height of ten foot.
As part of NBA Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose’s European Tour, 16 pairs of trainers, in various sizes, were laid out ready for people to come and try to jump for them. Each person had 24 seconds to reach their goal with approximately 120 pairs of D Rose’s 3.5 signature trainers to be won.
