Queens Park_ Milman Road NW6
This project was a complete renovation of a dilapidated terraced house in North London. The property required a complete strip out back to bare brick and timber.
This extremely tight site was a challenge as naturally the building was overshadowed by its neighbours, therefore careful positioning of glazed openings was required.
A side and rear wraparound extension, clad in cedar, created a spacious open plan kitchen diner, with a seamless transition to a sheltered rear garden. Skylights bring light into a previously dark space.
The living spaces were opened up, and Crittal glazing added to bring in light and visual connections throughout the ground floor.
The roof was converted to create a spacious master suite with fully opening folding windows.
